Patrick Thomas O'Hanlon-Stutz, born April 11, 1966, died Aug. 28, 2019, at the age of 53.

Patrick was the son of Kathleen Crawley-Stutz and Richard Stutz (deceased on June 7, 2018).

Patrick's siblings include his loving sister, Maureen and Michael Wooten of Rochester; his loving brother, Daniel and Guilia of Prior Lake; sister, Anna and Larry Monskey of the Twin Cities; brother, Jesse and Robin Stutz of Zumbrota; and sister, Kat Stutz of Rochester. He loved many of his nieces and nephews.

Patrick was unique - an avid fisherman, morel mushroom hunter, artist, and cyclist. He loved Sturgis. He also loved music and at one time had a band, playing drums and guitar. He was self taught. He was definitely a free spirit!

Patrick found the love of his life, Becca Nelson. This summer was the best. They had plans to marry.

Patrick was the father of two beautiful children and was loved by two more. He loved his son, Bonham Patrick, and his wife, Abby. He was excited about his new granddaughter, Aurora O'Hanlon. He was so tickled. Patrick's heart was for his daughter, Veda Wynter, and his grandson, Everett "Eve." He lived for them to be happy.

Brandon and Mariah Weitzenkamp were so very much part of his life. They were strong, smart kids. Patrick always admired Mariah for her smarts and beautiful heart.

Patrick loved the Veterans Cemetery in Preston. His father and uncle rest there. Being born in the Vietnam War era, he was sensitive to it.

Celebrate with Patrick from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 at Cooke Park in Rochester. Bring a dish to share.

Patrick's bash will be from 2 p.m. to close Saturday, Sept. 21 at North Star Bar in Rochester.

A memorial for Patrick will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at Richard's grave in the Veterans Cemetery in Preston. A light lunch will be served following at the Branding Iron in Preston.

Patrick loved to smile and wants you to remember him as a free spirit. His favorite song for you, "Have I told you lately that I love you?" by Rod Stewart.
